Entertainment
The festival is steep in traditions and ceremonies
but the 4th of July is also a celebration. The party is rocking at the Waterfront Stage with a variety of music and entertainment. Located at the end of South Howe Street, between Waterfront Park and Cape Fear Restaurant & Lounge, the entertainment is only half the attraction. With a backdrop of the Intracoastal Waterway and Cape Fear River, you just never know what will float by as you enjoy the sounds from the stage. There is plenty of room at Waterfront Park to spread out a blanket or take advantage of the street closing and setup a chair on the pavement, just make sure to save room in front of the stage for the dance “floor”. All that dancing and foot taping you will surely whip up an appetite. Food vendors are located adjacent to the stage serving everything from blooming onions to funnel cakes and everything in between.
